Brampton Man Charged by Extortion Investigative Task Force – ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਮੰਗਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ‘ਚ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ 33 ਸਾਲਾ ਹਿਤੇਸ਼ ਬਾਂਸਲ Hitesh Bansal ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੀਲ ਰੀਜਨਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਐਕਸਟੋਰਸ਼ਨ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਟਿਵ ਟਾਸਕਫੋਰਸ (Extortion Investigative Task Force) ਵੱਲੋ ਐਕਸਟੋਰਸ਼ਨ (ਰੰਗਦਾਰੀ) ਅਤੇ ਫੋਨ ਤੇ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ 33 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਹਿਤੇਸ਼ ਬਾਂਸਲ (Hitesh Bansal) ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਇੰਨਾ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
ਜਦ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਕੁਝ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਫੜੇ ਸਨ ਤਾਂ ਨੰਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ, ਜਦਕਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਸਾਧਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਗੈਰਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਪਰਨਾ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਓਂ ਮੱਗ ਸ਼ਾਟ ਲਿਆ। ਮੱਗ ਸ਼ਾਟ ਤਾਂ ਨੰਗੇ ਸਿਰ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ।

Hitesh, a common Hindu name, oddly dons a loose turban for his mugshot in a manner that shows he’s never kept one before. Many Sikhs have suggested this has been done by the accused to defame the community’s image.
Authorities believe a spate of extortions targeting Sikhs in Canada are being organized in many cases from India. Including by self proclaimed Indian and Hindu Nationalist gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Hitesh Bansal has been arrested by @PeelPolice in connection with an extortion attempt.

Region of Peel- Investigators from the Extortion Investigative Task Force (EITF) have arrested and charged another individual following reported extortion incidents in Peel.
On Sunday, February 11, 2024, the EITF began investigating allegations that a former employee of a Brampton business owner began threatening violence towards the owner, their family, and staff if they continued to operate. The accused claimed to have ties to the mob and that they would force the victim to shut down their business. The threats were made via phone calls and text messages.
The EITF quickly identified the accused, and on Monday, February 12, 2024, he was arrested in the City of Hamilton.
Hitesh Bansal, a 33-year-old from Brampton, has been charged with three counts of Extortion. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
