ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ, 6 ਫਰਵਰੀ – ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੀਡੀਆਕਾਰਪ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 42 ਸਾਲਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦ ਗਾਇਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਡਕਸ਼ਨ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਛੇੜਛਾੜ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ 3000 ਡਾਲਰ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਸ਼ਿਵਬਾਲਨ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਮੈਨਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਛੇੜਛਾੜ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਦੋਸ਼ ਸਮੇਤ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਦਾਲਤ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਵਕੀਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਸ਼ਿਵਬਾਲਨ ਨੇ 15 ਪੈੱਗ ਵਿਸਕੀ ਪੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ।
ਰਾਤ 12.20 ਵਜੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੀੜਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਦੋਸਤ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਦੇ ਬੇਸਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਫਟ ਦੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਫਿਰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਲਿਫਟ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਪੀੜਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਛੇੜਛਾੜ ਕੀਤੀ।

The incident occurred in 2022 at the Mediacorp Campus in Stars Avenue after the victim reported for work on the production of a show where Menon was hired as a singer and dancer, The Straits Times reported.
